WaterMark illustrates the interplay of time and water with natural and manmade elements both found in, and inspired by, their local context. Integrated into a stone wall within a North Vancouver Public Park, the cast concrete, resin and stainless steel piece provides a water source for the park’s reflecting pools and streams. Water movement through the work is affected by both rainwater run-off and direct interaction with the piece by way of artist-designed sluice gate handles.
