Uplift is an iconically scaled, integrated, and interactive water sculpture inspired by the rocky ridges and sloping geological formations of the Canadian Shield. Composed of granite and stainless steel, the work is embedded within the park’s functioning fountain and water-play environment. Water is released at the apex, gently cascades down the granite surface before flowing into a carved, sloping channel that seamlessly merges with the surrounding site.
