Photography by Carlos Amat An older business man in a grey wool suit and mismatched brown tie, his briefcase filled with papers, distracted with thoughts of his impending meeting. A young woman with a stroller and a baby in her arms who won’t be put down without crying. A kid on a cell phone, texting his friends while music blasts from his headphones.

Thousands gather in spontaneous collectivity on the LRT platform, waiting alone in transit yet faintly aware of one another. Each shares a brief moment in time and space—a temporary sense of belonging. TransitStory evokes the ephemeral presence and memory of travelers, capturing the fleeting trace of human life within civic infrastructure.
