Oblique draws inspiration from the non-linear, unscripted creative process shared by students at the Fine Arts College of URI. The work is experienced as a series of overlapping planes, shifting perspectives, oblique views, and unexpected reflections of color and provocative suggestions, all leading to the possibility of connection and unanticipated revelations that fuel the creative process and creative thinking of all those who interact with the work.
