Hundreds of streams once flowed freely through the dense forests of the North Shore, carrying water from the mountains to the sea. Decades of intense urban and rural development have buried most of these waterways, rendering them effectively lost. Lost Stream Found celebrates the re-emergence of one such hidden journey: a stream that rises from a dry creek bed on site, twists and turns dynamically through the air, and then disappears once more beneath the surface. Crafted from laminated cedar, stainless steel, and LED light, the artwork is both natural and man-made, tangible and ephemeral. It offers an ever-changing composition of form and material, revealing new perspectives and experiences from every vantage point.
