Line of Work celebrates the human spirit of the entrepreneurs and workers who built British Columbia, marking shifts in the evolution of the province and the aspirations of its workforce over time. The monumental artwork, commissioned by Worksafe BC, transforms everyday building materials into a powerful, yet protecting wave-form that reaches out towards the sea and envelops viewers within. Individual occupations are carved into the wood and provide opportunity for intimate reflection.
