Selected as one of three artists from across Canada, Jill Anholt was invited to interpret the word “go” for a temporary, site-specific sculptural installation exhibited for three weeks at the Vancouver Public Library. Responding to the spiral form of its setting, the resulting work embodies a sense of perpetual motion—a go that goes on forever. Go-Go evokes infinite possibility by reflecting viewers, passers-by, and the light-filled atrium itself, creating an interactive composition shaped by shifting light, movement, and multiple perspectives.
