Sculptural elements transform to distill a split second of a high speed ski turn, capturing the sense of risk and precariousness a skier experiences during downhill racing. The sculpture is integrated into the landscape design for the World Cup Plaza and provides a dynamic backdrop for awards presentations, media and entertainment events. Carving Turn was featured on the cover of the Vancouver/Whistler Olympic Bid Book for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
